My flights took me from Miri, Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and then to Phuket, Thailand. Other than not even getting water from Air Asia without paying for it, having to try to sleep ...

Our taxi van took us to Patong Beach and arrived at our guesthouse - Asia Loop and we made a beeline for the swimming pool as it was a hot day and the temperature was in the 30's. Refreshed, we wandered down the street to partake of our first Thailand meal at the Lemon Grass Restaurant.

    It was a long day!
