... obediently. Another story is that it was to hide her dark hair from demons who often like to lurk in dark places. Either way, it doesn’t take away from the absolute beauty of a halo it creates against Japanese women’s dark hair and eyes. Most modern brides now will wear a western style dress, but still have professional photos taken in Shiromuku for their wedding.

However, my absolute favorite Kimono are those of the apprentice ...

Walking over to my position the kids were slapping each other's arms and pointing at me, then either laughing, saying I was "kawaii!" (super cute), or just plain staring with wide eyes in disbelief. ... more groceries before I went home. I looked in the mirror and thought to myself, "I'm starting to look Okinawain." Tanned skin and frizzy hair due to the humidity. The humidex said it was a "crisp" 97% today with 30 plus degree heat. I made dinner and got ready for the next day. The weather was good today, but it's not supposed to be as nice tomorrow. I'm contemplating making tomorrow a rest day. It will be a game time ...
