      ... Castle, which as fate would have it looked awesome under the snow. Adam found some more stitch merch including a coin with him printed in front of the castle. When we where inside I introduced him to the stairs of death... really you could easily die on these stairs they are more of a wall then stairs. After a quick tour we went back to the station to catch a bus to the hotel. Stopping only once to check out an anime store.

      Matsumoto is a very cute city with its own castle (not that I have seen it). Luke will take the kids out today to do some exploring. Mason doing really well, he can stand with weight on his good leg on crutches. Not allowed to put any more than 10kg of weight on his bad leg for 6 weeks.       ... made our way into a small round room off the main chamber it had several small cubbies similar to the last room but these clocks were a lot older. We saw a sundial, hourglass and even a candle clock. This room also contained a projector playing a slideshow of images of different time pieces. We entered the castle park and ignoring the park and museum for now we made our way straight across the main bridge and into the castle. On the inside of the moat we saw the gift shop and the outlines of where the original palace was located as well as of course the castle towers.
