    An unplanned day in Bangkok

With Merin and Cia off on their day tour, I only had one objective which was to find Plan Toys. I did a bit of research of places of interest, that might be in the vicinity of Plan Toys, before I left the hotel and away I went. I've never been so unprepared for an adventure (even though my adventures rarely go to plan), I usually have a vague idea how I'm going to spend my time, and what I want to experience. This time I've got nothing!!! I mastered the train system pretty ...

Jet Boating and Flowers for lunch

Broooom! The smell of boat fuel and pure goodness was what filled my lungs today. I ventured 38 kilometres south of Hobart to arrive at my next destination the Huon Jet Boat rides. I made sure I was there at least half an hour ...

Fortunately my attention is soon taken away by a fascinating sight. A Nepalese temple on the side of the river. ...

... went to pick Ash, Marcia and Craig up from the airport and went to the hotel which was a pretty basic one just for the night but did the job. We headed off to the State of Origin on the train after stopping off for a drink at a pub, which was hard to find a decent one as we seemed to be in a bit of a seedy area. Suncorp Stadium was awesome and we had great seats, 8 rows from the front and directly behind ...
