Our first train was about 3 1/2 hours long, and when we reached Birmingham, we found out that our train to Nottingham was canceled! We were told to get on a train to Derby, then transfer at Derby to Sheffield, and then finally backtrack to Nottingham. But, when we got on that train, it was switched to go straight to Nottingham!
