    Perfect Stay in Taormina

Maior mico!

Today was one of the hardest days I've had in a long time. Today I received the news that one of my good friends, and sorority sister, passed away in a car accident. I am completely heartbroken and am having a really hard time processing the whole situation. Anna was such a kind hearted person that lit up the room with her smile and infectious laugh. She wasn't afraid of what anyone thought of her and did whatever she wanted- usually this was in the form of crazy ...

... climb. The walk was worth it though, the views were amazing! We sat down to another small seafood luncheon in the old town and enjoyed a couple of cold beers, which were very deserved I might add. Later in the afternoon Vicki and I went to the top of the hill which overlooks the town. No climbing this time though, it was in a cable car. We sat back in a open air restaurant ...

... islands to look at glass making and the lace making. I can see why R & R Mariani insisted that we visit these two islands while in Venice, they are both amazing places to visit. The waterways are something that has to be seen to be believed. They are so busy and these guys manoeuvre the 20 meter boats around without blinking an eye lid. They would be very handy for pulling the pots back home! The only down side to ...

Malta was up there with the nicest places on our trip. the streets were so clean, the scenery was great and the history was something to marvel. Our so called tradition owners have nothing to complain about at all, when you hear the history of Malta and what they have had to go through as a Country to survive. This place is defiantly somewhere that we would visit ...
