      Perfect Stay in Taormina

Maior mico!

      ... back home.

We stayed in simple B&B's with lovely, open Italians, happy to share their small rooms and their stories of seeing snow on beaches and snow on temples for the first time in their lives.

We should have kept an accurate count of just how much pizza was consumed. I'm really certain it constituted the bulk of Sam, Henry and Doug's diet for a week. Luckily we balanced that out with breakfasts of ...

Looking over the sea, seats would have hosted crowds to watch comedy's and tragedies on the floor below them. These performances were the genesis to the theatre culture we have today. Greeks performed in a full circle called the orchestra where dancers would act out the play. It wasn't until the Romans when stages began to be formed like we have today in our theatre culture. The arts ...

... but tonight was very interesting. We had no idea what we had ordered for dinner, it was hard to get an English translation but all in all it wasn't too bad.
