Sicily sucks
... wasted a lot of the day going round in circles. This place is poorly signposted and the streets are tiny but eventually we are winding our way up the hill to Etna. It gets colder and colder the higher we go and there is heaps of either fog, or the cloud cover, can't decide which, so visibility is poor. When we get to the top we are underwhelmed. I don't know what I expected, but this barren landscape littered with lava rocks and a whole bunch of tourist buses, but not much else, ...

Simply magic
Dear tripadvisor users,
no other term could best describe my experience in Taodomus but "magic". Not only is Taodomus "magically" located in the very centre of town, literaly a few steps away from the main "piazza", but the experience in the hotel itself has been one of the best I have ever had.
The room I was in was very comfortable, the view was breathe-taking and the quality of the service was superbe. We know Italians are usually very welcoming, but these guys were more than that, they made my experience in Sicily a perfect one. Always ready to help me with any silly question.
Did I mention the breakfast? Only fresh local products, it was indeed a pleasure.
The quality/price ratio was great. For the high quality of the service I got a very good deal. I highly recommend it to all of those who are going to the area.
Not to mention how beautiful Taormina is...check out the Greek theatre and the view onto the sea and the Volcano. Unforgettable.

Ottima esperienza
arrivati nel picco del caldo di giugno siamo stati accolti in un ambiente pulito luminoso nuovissimo. si presenta con colori tenui, riposanti, molto eleganti. Il personale molto professionale è attentissimo alle minime esigenze dei clienti.
le camere sono spaziose luminose con bagno motlo ben disposto e curato.
Data la temperatura esterna è stata un'ottima sorpresa l'aria condizionata in ogni stanza e non centralizzata.
la colazione è una esperienza unica.
la spremuta d'arancia fresca fatta sul momento con arancie locali è indimenticabile. L'assortimento è ampio e la qualità ottima (niente supermercati solo prodotti di panetteria o pasticceria freschi).
Contentisssimi
siamo rimasti contentissimi dell'albergo perchè è pulito, il servizio impeccabile, carino esteticamente,si trova in una posizione centrale a Taormina ove è possibile raggiungere qualunque posto senza fatica. un'altra cosa positiva è che si trova vicino al parcheggio.ottima accoglienza.
Überraschend gut
Mit etwas Schwierigkeiten fanden wir das Taodomus, da es erst vor drei Wochen eröffnet wurde und niemand es kannte - noch !
Wenn man mal NICHT in einem der grossen Hotels absteigen und nicht Halb- oder Vollpension buchen will, sondern flexibel,
individuell und unabhängig von Essenszeiten und vorgege- benen Menüs typisches italienisches ambiente erleben will - dann ist man hier goldrichtig. Die Besitzer haben das uralte Gebäude (innen) geschmackvoll völlig neu, aber auch funktionell gestaltet.
Obwohl direkt am berühmten Corso Umberto gelegen hört man kaum Verkehrslärm. Der Service in diesem 1o Zimmer-Hotel ist individuell u. ausgezeichnet, ebenfalls das Frühstück. Die Gäste vieler anderer Hotels müssen steile Treppen oder Wege in Kauf nehmen um die Attraktivitäten dieses historischen Ortes zu erkunden.

Viajé a Taormina durante mis vacaciones en Sicilia. El teatro es espectacular, algo que no te puedes perder. Cuando llegamos al hotel, todo era completamente nuevo y la habitación era perfecta. Me gustaron los nombres de cada habitación, es un toque único. Maravilloso.

When i got to the hotel everything was brand new and the room was perfect. I liked the names they gave to all the rooms, it gives the hotel a unique touch! thumbs up!
Very central
This is a really nice hotel that just opened up one month ago. It is right on Corso Umberto with good access to everything worth visiting in Taormina. They dont have their own parking, but give a good 40% discount to the parkinghouse just a few hundred metres away.
Friendly staff, nice, clean rooms and a good breakfast. You can even have it brought to your room without extra charge which we found a very nice service.

Dies ist wirklich ein schönes Hotel und hat erst im letzten Monat eröffnet. Es liegt direkt an der Corso Umberto und bietet einen guten Zugang zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Taormina. Es gibt zwar keine eigenen Parkplätze, man bekommt aber 40% Rabatt im Parkhaus nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt. Freundliche Angetsellte, schöne, saubere Zimmer und ein gutes Frühstück. Man kann sogar auf dem Zimmer frühstücken (ohne Aufpreis), was mir sehr gut gefallen hat.

Quarto soggiorno nella splendida Taormina, ma di sicuro questo è l'albergo dove si coniuga al meglio la vicinanza al centro e l'amenità di camere magnifiche.
La camera dove abbiamo soggiornato è rifinita con un gusto squisito, la colazione servita in camera è stata deliziosa, il personale accogliente. Da ritornarci.
Loved the hotel taodomus
In may 2007 my husband and i went to Taormina and cebrate our 25 years of marriage.
We did this in hotel Taodomus.
We for that no better choice could have made because Taodomus is a very sociable and romantic family hotel.
The hotel is entirely new and lies in the middle of the head street of Taormina .
The hotel has arranged very luxuriously with beautiful coordinated colours and the chambers with sea visibility also look out on the volcano the etna.
The staff in very pleasant and extremely helpful and wel english speaking.
The breakfast has been very extended with home made jam,cakes,fresch gravy the orange,delicious bread .
We are certaily of plan return to Taormina and decide to hotel Taodomus.
