    ... them to eat the dead skin. It does sound really yukky but it felt fine – little tickles and certainly our feet felt smoother afterwards. A further little walk, then lunch and then another walk. We are finding the vendors initially assertive but once it is clear that we don't wish to make a purchase they are actually really friendly – especially to Craig. It is a very MALE population but also secular with strong women.

    Merhabar! We have had a great start to our Turkey adventure. We got to Bodrum on Saturday and the first thing we ate of course was a kebab. We spent the afternoon at the castle which was also an archeological museum, and for dinner we went to this amazing restaurant on a car park.     ... the steps and steep walkways of the old town to hop on a gulet for 2 hours of cruising along the coast. Very pleasant it was too with the sea breeze and the chug chug of the engine.

    A quick tea for me when we got back, a blissful shower and then dosed myself with vitamin C, and garlic to ward off a pending cold that is doing the rounds of the coach. Tomorrow is another day......
