... waiters at the restaurant where we had dinner. Sadly we couldn't stay up for the bingo and quiz night being held in the lounge of our hotel - we beat the senior citizens to bed - all this touristing really takes it out of you. ... to say all of our goodbyes to family and friends but i'm sure it wont be long before we see you all again ��
We are now at a campsite in Poole for a couple of nights before the grand depart on Saturday morning......feeling chilled with a glass of wine and wondering what the next few months have in store for us.

... the road we were already on wound right through the Gorge (just like we planned). There are many, many stopping places with car parking on the twisty descent and most of them were empty at this time of year; that is until we got near the bottom, and the village, when they began to fill up with cars and coaches. We managed a couple of stops for pictures further up, but otherwise kept going, especially through the busy village. We're tough, we don't need no tea breaks!

... large. The lounge was a place where you could sit and read, do a puzzle, play a game or knit. Our hosts even lit a fire for us in the evening to add to the character of the house.
The next day we headed through the Dartmoor Forest. These have the moors going over the hills and are very sparse. Once again the scenery is wonderful and I don't know what we will do back in Hamilton. Ah well we will enjoy it while we ...
