Carlo and I woke early and as tempting as it was to stay in bed we slowly got up and started moving. We dressed quickly and packed the last of our belongings to head back to the airport. We found a taxi easily and I bartered the cost of the ride down with no problem. The sun rose slowly over Bangkok as we cruised towards our next destination.

... between 2 gangs resulting in a gang member and a tourist being shot (and both killed). I can't say I'll miss this island one bit. My original plan had been to come back and spend Christmas and New Year here but I think the parties are over rated and the island is not nice. ... to the hostel, that it said “Half moon” party – oops. Paint and cutting sorted that out!
