... but one dude stole the show when he brought out this enormous horn. It was like a didgereedoo crossed with one of the swiss yodelling horns. But instead of holding it down like you would expect he held it horizontally at head height and then proceeded to walk around the restaurant swinging his horn over peoples heads. ... Not as good as the food in Buenos Aires, but the service was nice and the place was very pretty. We enjoyed the dinner.

Following dinner, we walked back to the hotel. The one thing we noticed during our walk to the hotel was that Tilcara has a stray dog problem. We didn't realize how bad it was until we started to go to bed. There were dogs barking, fighting and howling all night. They only stopped after about 8:30 the next ...

... najin avto, s katerim se bova naokrog podila naslednjih sedem dni. Dobila sva VW Gol, vozilo, ki mu do golfa manjkajo zgolj en "f", servo volan in velika mera udobja. Ampak pelje pa se. Tako sva zdaj v Tilcari, dokaj blizu meje z Bolivijo. Once all was packed I and others left and headed into Cafalate for breakfast.

A few of the old team left and started their journey to Tilcara and just after that I left also. Within ten miles the wonderful Argentinean scenery had begun. This was yet another mountain pass but was of a totally different nature from any of the others.
