    ... taste to have some decent food in this heat, although that is probably not OK.
    Anyway after 60 km the GPS gave up and we had to rely on our written instructions for the last few kms. We arrived before 3 in the hotel. A beautiful place in the midst of the salt winning area of Sicily. Started with a big bottle of beer (66 cl), a shower and then recovering at the pool.

    ... and so far so good. Challenge will be to ensure sufficient water and freshness during the 70 km trip of tomorrow. We will see.

    After the short test drive looking for a place to get to the beach, we only found an access place where the fee was 3 euro a person (and it was close to sunset – and we forgot the bike lock. So no sea bathing today.

    Final dinner at Baglio Oneto tonight. Had our dinner in the restaurant tonight think a certain lady had been complaining about the mozzies in the courtyard. It was our last night with Lorraine tonight as she was getting a taxi early in the morning to Palermo, where she was going to Scandinavia for another three week tour. Sadly said goodbye.
