2 hour flight to Philadelphia + 20 min train ride to center city + 2 hour wait/lunch + 1.5 hour bus ride later... I am at Lehigh University!!! That took a lot of energy, what with our big packs and trying to juggle trekking poles as well. Then came ...

... river isn't that deep in many places, but thanks to a schedules dam release we enjoyed some class 3 white water as we made our way down the river (sorry, but camera was put way before we got to the whitewater). Our boat crew had a great time trying to stay in the lead (although it really wasn't a race). ...

... the town of Gettysburg. Gettysburg is where many get reconnected with the history of our country and the fight for freedom and equality. It is so realistic as many people stroll through town in period attire.
Museums, galleries, restaurants, gift shops, wineries, distilleries and ghost tours keep you busy within the town of Gettysburg.

We took a day to visit the town of Lancaster. It was about an hour ride and so well worth ...
