This entry will be a very short one. Why? Who wants to read about someone sitting at home, stuck indoors by the rain, thunder, and 50 m/h winds?! More importantly, who wants to write about that? :-)

... than a pin head costs an arm and a leg, and we couldn't afford to lose those :-) Malgosia managed to find some gifts for her nieces and nephews but shortly after we escaped to the real world.

Today I was so pleased to see Agata, her 1-year old daughter Nina, and her husband Jarek. They live 15 km from Ilowiec in a town called Srem, in a delightful two-bedroom apartment. they both work and Nina's grandmother takes care of her.

... host, Mrs. Borek, will stop at nothing to fatten me up. It is mandatory to eat at least three meals a day here and the only exception is made when one presents an invitation to somebody else's place, where a meal is confirmed to be served :-)

I love it, because even 18 years after I left, my former students and their children say "Hello" to me on the street and the small shop owner immediately knows what I'd like.
