... some books up in case any of them join. So we are going to be busy for the next day or so.

We just had a little excitement. It is going to rain tonight, maybe, but I remembered that the awning was out, so I went to put it in and the wind had already picked up enough that the awning was billowing up and over the coach (hopefully not enough to tear it off the top of the coach). Bob was already asleep and I had to wake him up to help ...

... a little over an hour, but from Texarkana area more like two hours, we decided to visit from here. I know we are also close to Denison and Eisenhower's place, but we have to have something to do when we're back here in Sep. So off we went. Well if he didn't know how were we to know, but he continued to work ...

We left Marble Falls about 9 am. The drive up to Durant was supposed to be about 6 hours, by the GPS directions, but since Bob doesn't like driving anywhere near Dallas, I looked at a map and decided we should follow a different route. But I get ahead of myself.

Our first stop was to be Walmart in Marble Falls to gas up. Bob was driving the coach and I drove the car with the plan to hook-up after filling up. We pulled into Walmart and parked to pull into the ...

    Escaping the Rain

... the rain got heavier. This town is on the bucket list for next time.
Rained all day and we mostly stayed on back roads instead of the interstate for the first half. Once we realized that the rain was not going to let up we hopped on the interstate and headed south towards Dallas.
