Gettin outa Guana soon
... where the garbage is burned. Ugh. So not everything is perfect in paradise. Anyway, we have spent afternoons just watching the waves, reading, walking and enjoying the companionship of fellow sailors here. Tuesday night was another movie “event,” this time at one of our new favorite places, Pirate’s Cove. Jerry, the owner, offers a walk-in movie and it’s free! “Master and Commander” was on the screen last ...

... been washing up on the shore and to stay away from them, they are very poisonous. The place was packed with a lot of spring breakers. Den & I took a long walk along the shore after we ate and took some neat pictures. Then we went to see what was happening at Grabber's and ended up back at the boat, plum tuckered out. This a source of frustration and a topic for argument. ...
Hopping To Hope Town
... to the harbor. A dingy race was in progress just outside the harbor. We continued exploring and found a cemetery from the 1800's with limestone crypts above ground that were crumbling. Next we climbed a bluff and found the ocean. The sand was actually pink. Waves were breaking over the coral reefs close to shore. It was gorgeous. We walked for a while drinking in the beauty of it all then went back to the boats in late afternoon and had an early supper. Tomorrow is another day.
