This town turned out not to be the prettiest we had seen on our year away or the most functional - we could not find anywhere to eat for love nor money. Instead we caught a motorbike taxi to the boat office where we picked up our tickets for the ferry in the morning, bought some food and had a picnic dinner in our hotel room.

CT was a lot more interesting than CD, as the main town in the Mekong delta, it was very lively with pleasant public gardens along the riverside and the river itself buzzing with traffic - all night long! We had an excellent dinner in the hotel that night. Next morning we took a luxury launch for a visit to the nearby floating market and the small canals criss-cross the area.
