        ... But I get the feeling we are going to struggle with the dong. Before we went to the Vietnam counterfeit kfc we went to the atm. The largest sum of money you could get out was 2,000,000 dong. We later found out this was the equivalent of 60. I think we are going to have to take the converter to the markets tomorrow.

        ... boat, needing to be teamed up according to weight etc so the boat was stable. We had a lady boat driver and we were off. Passing many houses on the river which get flooded when the water level is up. Even though we are 100km from the sea there is over a metre tide every day. Along the river you pass quite a few ferries, at the start they are reasonably big (not as big as our river Murray ones ) and then get smaller, they are owned privately and you pay to cross, ...

        ... to 'check the nets'. It has to all be done by feel as the visibility would not be great down there.
        On our way back to our boat we pass many of these floating houses and fish farms. There are adults, children and dogs all living on the water and from our observations, not much sanitation!
