... they had room for just one night and we were taxied to Emma's discovery; Nam Mon Boutique Guesthouse. Our departure party was reduced to a coffee on the road next door where the sign read 'poor coffee'. ... the way. The candy was lovely if a little sticky and we were shown the process of making it. Bottle upon bottle of rice wine lined the shelves all with cobras or scorpions in them. One actually had a cobra with a scorpion in its mouth!
