We had a great few days clambering up inside houses carved out of the strange rock formations. Many have multiple levels and tunnels connecting different rooms. There are also lots of dovecotes, granaries and churches. We stayed in a cave dorm. ...

... Tunisia. Almost indescribable, you just have to see it. A steep climb to reach it but well worth the effort. Its a rabbit warren of rooms and a church all interconnected.

Then a short stop at Pigeon Valley where Daisy and I had started our walk on the first day and finally at a stop called the Goreme Panorama where you got a great view of the whole incredible landscape that makes Cappodocia famous.

We didn't get back to Canyon View Hotel until after sunset around ...
