I had jokingly (kind of) commented to Mikey that we hadn't done any overnight buses or trains on our budget trip, and that it might be an interesting and more local experience, so to save money (plus a nights accommodation) and time (not wasting a whole day travelling), we decided to take the overnight bus from Pamukkale to Goreme.
