... lifts, running water, and a central vacuum system. It is 10 times better than Hearst’s Castle in California.

Sinaia was the last city that I visited in Romania. All the books that I read about this country before I came, especially David Kaplan’s Balkan Ghost, made me envision a poor and backward nation of nasty people. But now I believe that this impression, if true, is only one of many faces of this country that is full of beautiful people and mountains.

English and stuff about how to be more environmentally friendly. He converted to Muslim few years ago,you can hear Ezan from his computer 5 times a day (felt like home) and he doesn`t drink normally, though i convinced him to have a glass of wine. But a 15 minute bus ride from residential area took me to the ...

... C. Italy D. Brazil... the answer is D! Please wikipedia this... French people can technically take a domestic flight to this one place in South America!). Oh, and the poor GT has to serve in both the German and Turkish militaries. But apparently he enjoyed skiing down the Alps in a white uniform and a machine gun, so I am not too worried. We were making our back up to the hostel when a group of Germans flagged us ...

... pictures separately from text, too annoying. If you are finding it all too tiresome, I believe that you (UK residents)can now see Michael Palin visiting Eastern Europe on your TV screens. I can't imagine that he can possibly match the tales of Hostel-woe; rucksack-anger; or indeed eat as much cake as Virg, but you may find it mildly distracting and learn something about the places we have visited. ... other couple of guys did much the same thing. Was very funny to watch, and all very harmless. I got home around 1pm and had a great sleep. Alcohol is such a good sleeping aid. Piri brought me breakfast this morning of cornflakes which tasted like pumpking flavour. Warm milk. 2 soy sausages, mustard and stale bread. mmm tasty. i was dying for a cup of tea so i went out and asked her some. ... ribs. Knowing that I could not eat a giant plate of ribs, I decided I would still go for some pork. Had a small bowl of salted pork knuckle and bean soup and then a pork cutlet with potatoes. Soup was awesome but the rest was just ok. Walked back to the hotel for our one night there, I think this will be a pants tucked into socks sleep! Morning can't come fast enough!

... town is wonderful and has everything travelers like us could want: plenty of sites to visit, great views, cute restaurants, friendly locals, excellent transit connections, first-rate architecture, and of course decent internet access. We've spent most of our time here walking the town, slowly seeing the sights, gaining serious weight dining on the great cuisine, catching up on reading, and doing travel planning for upcoming parts of the itinerary. One moment gave me a smile few ...

... they evolv all the time towards the next dream... - maybe the definitition of "idealism" is something we can leave to people that prefer staying in their limitations? cause idealists are simply doing - living - questionning - emancipating - empowering -for me are people that work for the common good. with a strong emphasis on "work". they do live a dream, yes, but they are very willing to share it and make other people participate. reasons why people are affraid of idealists ...

... hosts drove us around a bit for us to get a better view. The most entertaining aspect of the journey was Nico sitting in the back of his truck with his Romanian-English dictionary, attempting to speak to us. It was hilarious to hear him rambling off words.... "hello. red. I am good. yes." The town where I am living has a beautiful open-air market which is open 7 days a week. It is a wonderful cultural experience to go there, and it has become one of my favourite places to visit ...
