... Now Olle comes from the same town as Harry and Siw and he was amazed to learn that they were in the vicinity. I promised to forward his mobile number next time I was on line so that they could text each other. I also chatted to the owners of ‘Summertime’ , a German couple whose names I don’t have but who we will doubtless see again as they are from Fehmarn and are due back roughly the same time as us. And so, talked out, to bed.

... as she was with dripping (no spin dryer either) washing. It was a brilliant drying day, good breeze and hot sun, so it wasn’t long at all until at least some of the washing, was dry and put away.

It was time to have Julie’s birthday meal and we decided to be lazy and just go to the restaurant in the harbour. We were pleased with the choice as we could sit outside and the food was really quite good, at least the mains & puddings ...

... pay as all was included, albeit it was a longish walk to the showers (toilets were nearer, in the ferry terminal) but in Virtsu, in addition to their 20 euros, they wanted to charge €2 each for the showers – so of course we washed on the boat.

... for where to spend the night and boats do more or less the same speeds, it is almost inevitable that boats having similar plans for their respective voyages will end up in the same harbours. It was nice to catch up but the language barriers prevented us from getting too chatty.
