... bread rolls. And a spritz. (Made with prosseco (sparkling wine) Apple juice and water). Bellissimo! What a magical spot to have lunch, out on the balcony. Lake and mountain views. Beautiful! After lunch I walk through the hotel's gardens. Beautiful again! Back to Varenna for a spot of last minute shopping (bought some prints of the area) and a huge gelato. Back to my room to pack up. We crossed the border from Austria into Switzerland and soon arrived at St Moritz. Once again the scenery was amazing with snow capped mountains, people skiing along walking tracks, husky's at training school and a lake that was covered over. We stopped for a break and a ...

... such a difference when you're being fully immersed in it. Anita and Michel took us out for drinks and showed us around town and through the beautiful piazzas with all the Christmas lights. We then headed back to their beautiful home and Anita had made my favourite for dinner (a new dish for Lee!)- gnocchi! Anita's homemade gnocchi is honestly above all else- truly the best. Then oh my goodness- Rivella! When we last came to Switzerland we had it and I was so looking forward to ...
