... after a quick nap we went down to the beach and a man with a wheel barrel full of ice and fresh fruit was my first stop, he cut up beautiful fresh coconut, pineapple & watermelon. We ended up at another supermarket in Santa Ponca instead - Erosti.

This morning we left Palma to go to Pollenca. We took the scenic north route starting from Andratx stopping in little towns a long the way. Going to Port de Valldemossa was the biggest mistake. It took fifteen minutes each way with hair raising turns (we actually hit the side of a wall once but luckily it was only the tire that hit it.) The road often was only wide enough for one car.
