Due to contrary winds and a low pressure system generating some “large” waves, the organisers decided to delay the start from yesterday to tomorrow. Madeira to Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria

Over the three days we enjoyed indian cuisine, attempted at fresh fish and conversations covered a wealth of topics. We saw the odd turtle enjoying the sunshine and a beautiful and lively pod of 12 dolphins came to dance in the bow wave. Off the Coast of the Sahara
... of Aguimes. It took about 40 minutes to get there and we had a nice walk around. It was one of the rich sugar cane towns and has been preserved nicely. The houses are built from the volcanic rock (not much different from the Big Island – they also have an observatory here). There are many nice squares and statutes of island life every block or so.
