... which appear to occur annually in Australia.. Then it was back to Little Fort and the 'interesting' drive via Lilooet.. Roads became narrower and there were more Log trucks. All adding to the fun of driving Not to mention the occasional wide load... The roads grew more tortuous and narrow.. We had a few rest stops.. There are plenty of pull off areas with views ...

... I worked my last day before two days off so we took this as the perfect opportunity to have a great night out before a very lazy Wednesday.
The Volly Party was at 1830 so I met Jenny in the village after her last day at work and Jenny, Luke and I went for a drink in Cittas, making use of the $10 gift voucher Lane gave me. ... previous exploration, and had a great time. Powder is quite difficult to turn in and also it is very slow, more resistance. This requires you to straight line more, to maintain momentum. Providing you maintain a decent speed, I think over 8mph, then you glide across the top of the powder. The feeling is great, you lean back and skim across the powdery surface, floating on what feels like a bed of air with nothing but the silence of the wind rushing past you!

... No good for zee knees!

We left the birthday cake out and told the others to help themselves, there was no way the two of us could have eaten it all. I got home after skiing and had a HUGE piece of the delicious birthday cake and then saved the remaining part for Jenny. How bitter sweet it would be if Jenny came home to find it all eaten. Bitter as it would mean none for her, sweet as at least it shows the cake is very tasty! ...

... very pleased as I don’t drink wine so she got two glasses! Haha. You can see from the pictures I had steak, and that was very good.

Monday rolled around and it was Jenny’s first day off since working five days so she seized the opportunity to go on another ski lesson! Jenny had progressed from level one to a level two skier so she was keen to progress some more.
