We had Bob and Sue, Stuart, Luke and Andrew and myself and the girls went with Carrie. We were planning to drive up in convoy, but that lasted less than 5 minutes as I was sat in the back using Waze for directions and saw that I5 was at a standstill, so we carried on with an alternative route ...

The bus will drop our group off at the top of the mountain which is about twenty mins from the hotel. The friendly staff at the park gave me a quick training course on ...

... lots of people crashing out! We arrived at the bottom of the mountain where there was a live concert taking place as part of the World Ski & Snowboard Festival. A few days later was the big party. This was for the whole of Whistler Kids and we had exclusive use of Merlin’s Bar. The theme was ‘Whistler Kids Stampede’ so everyone dressed as cowboys! There was also a bucking bronco which was fun to watch. I didn’t attempt it for ...

... I think Jenny was surprised by how well she was skiing after 4 weeks off. Her technique was good and before long she was skiing as well as she was before her crash.
You may have noticed the pictures of us with a giant icicle! I managed to pull that off the roof of the Chick Pea hut and presented it to Jenny as a very useful present! Haha. See photos.
At the start of the day we were going to have a relaxed ski, just enjoy some fresh tracks see ...
