... and some banter later when the rest of the group came back we sent Jo out on his longboard to go to the nearest liquor store to stock back up on corona. He managed to get back in record time only dropping the box once and loosing only 3 beers not bad at all. ... Running through creeks of freezing water, climbing rock faces and all the other things us "Wilderness Explorers" do. We hiked back in record time as we were hitting up our burger place again and passed so many hikers on the way back. The lakes were a lot different when the sun was out and we took more photos. ... Jenny’s skis I decided to wax my own. So after getting advice from Luke, YouTube and Steve (Francis) I embarked on doing it myself! Luke kindly donated some wax, which was shaped like a maple leaf and worryingly looked very tasty! I brought my skis home, for the first time ever, used the kitchen chairs to support my skis and put newspaper down, covered the iron with tin foil and got to work.
