We went to a Provincial park on a side road to see a natural area gorge from 10,000 years ago it was probably 5km from the main road. There were 2 cars with women and children having something to eat, and this little badly, matted black terrier dog was hanging around them. Having left Mt Robson we headed to Prince George! On the highway we were lucky enough to see a huge Grizzly bear. I can assure you that the sight of a bear never gets tired, they are beautiful creatures �� We then drove on to Quesnel ! Great roads, sunny day, yay! Very sore ****...........boo! ...

... squirrel NO that's a joke but we did see a number of squirrels some a bit flat on the roadside and others still quite active. Lillooet was interesting as it was similar looking to some of the country we saw around Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. They apparently have quite mild winters and low rainfall. The country just kept changing as we would climb around hills and mountains then go down steep drops into valleys always creeks ...
