... to discover that, yes they did have us on their system but there was a mechanical fault with the plane and our flight was delayed for 11/2 hours! Unfortunately this meant our arrival in Port Vila wasn't until midnight. Got to the Kaiviti Hotel and everyone was in bed! How unreasonable! By this time we were feeling old hands at waking people up! They couldn't find our booking either!! We finally convinced the temporary manager to let us all go to bed and we'd work it out in the ...

... Relieved to be back at Benjor I paid the driver 1600Vt for keeping us alive and then we all jogged back to the villa. Aaron was not at all appreciative of the rain and attempted to protect himself with a bunch of native cabbage. I can never be bothered fighting weather so I enjoyed a nice fresh shower. In the 1 1/2 minutes it took to get back we were all soaked to the skin and then some.

Well it's finally my turn to have a shower. Good night.

... Vanuatu people he was poor but had the ability to live off the produce from the forest. Henry showed us a barrel of mud crabs and an lemon tree filled with green skinned lemons. Aaron wouldn't believe they were lemons so he cut one down and sure enough there was the normal yellow lemon inside. We thanked David for his hospitality and continued thorough the farms of the local villages. Henry shook down a papaw and lead us to a mangrove where we ate more coconuts. ...
