... roast beef and yorkshire pudding with no subtlety whatsoever. Another good night. Micheal's a professional photographer and he generously gave us a large print of one his photos of the local area. Hopefully it will survive the trip back. Drove up to Holyhead on 5th June to get the ferry to Dublin. Left the hire car at Holyhead.

Thanks for the tuition last night now time to see how much I remembered!! Think I've about got it Sussed and no doubt it'll be when I'm trying to do it for real that any problems will occur!! A beautiful day spent in the Cotswolds. Started with a visit to Sudeley Castle - a privately owned castle where some sections are open to the public as well as the garden. Very well set up for the visitor with lots of information panels about inhabitants, including Katherine Parr, one of Henry V111's wives and displays of period furniture, paintings etc. The gardens have been restored and are lovely - included lots of sculpted yew hedges, flower beds, a secret ...

... Town Hall a visit. A tudor style building that is positioned smack bang in the middle of the street, where you can actually drive under it. The building was erected in the mid 17th century and was originally an assizes, where convicted criminals met their fate.
