      realised my social batteries had been recharged after days of mostly solitude..

      im meeting people... went to the local hotel lobby... nobody there...
      passed one big foreigner guy - looked in his 40s..
      thers no foreigneers in "Tak" - except peace core! wtf... probably a pedophile..??

      ... the daycare until 1:30, so I sat in the clinic office and read until then. In the afternoon, it was mostly older kids, and they were painting.       ... groups from Burma. A lot has changed since I left 11 years ago. Mae Sot has grown A LOT. Soo many new and higher buildings, it was hard to sometimes even recognize where I was. Also the people. The Thai government changed their policy toward the Burmese political groups since I left and many of the people I knew have been relocated to other countries: Canada, USA, Norway, Australia, India...So not as many familiar faces as I would have liked to see. ...
