        Another day and another delay getting into a Ghanaian port.

        The trip today took us through the centre of Takoradi , past Monkey Hill and its forests and onto the totally fascinating fishing harbour at Bosumtwi Sam. The whole bay was full of boats.         ... and it was also raining, so attendance was much lower than expected. We had 8. It was suggested we start a little early, which turned out to be good, because they were gearing up for a funeral in one of the other rooms nearby, and as we finished the study it was getting so loud we could no longer talk easily.

        ... is really only wide enough for one taxi, so when two want to pass, combined with a lot of people all milling around, the drivers each have to perform a rather intricate dance (and the pedestrians have to dance a little too).
