... girly scream and fled the kitchen. We got the dog in there but he couldn't find it, and then everyone went to bed and left me with the rat and the flapjack in the oven! We had a resident rat in our hut last night which I thought I would freak out about, but I was strangely OK with it, except when I heard it rustling around near my bed. Today is a day off so we are in Prasling for the day enjoying the beaches, flushing toilets and some real food!

... visjes onder de boot te zien. Daarna nog ff op klein eilandje aan het strand gespeeld. Er was ook een ander stel mee met twee meisjes van dezelfde leeftijd. Hun jongste dochter was nog net geen jaar en heette ook Lara, heel toevallig. De beiden Lara's waren op de terugreis erg moe en vielen beiden in slaap, zo schattig. Even later vielen ook Tess en het andere meisje in slaap. Leuk voor Tess om met leeftijdgenootje te spelen, taalbarrieres bestaan dan gewoon niet. ...
Beau Vallon, Mahé
Sinds maandag zijn we op het grootste eiland van de Seychellen, Mahé. Prachtig appartement op ongeveer vijf minuten lopen van een - wederom - schitterend strand. Foto's hebben we nog niet overgezet dus helaas geen plaatjes erbij deze keer. We hebben zandkastelen gebouwd, in zee gezwommen, in het zwembad gezwommen.
