    We made all sorts of dishes for when a couple people came over that afternoon. We made salad, teriyaki potatoes, tomatoe and eggs, duck that was roasted and had a variety of spices on it, fish, cucumber salad and angel food cake for dessert :) eating out is cheap and convienent, but cooking at home feels comfy and I love it.

    I FINALLY got my phone to upload pictures to my computer! whoop whoop! small victories ...

    ... and frightening at the same time. The Chinese do not waste anything and we found ourselves looking at pig tongue, snout, ears and everything in between. Walking through a fresh meat shed was quite confronting as we tried to come to grips with raw meat being prepared on dirty benches with no form of hygiene or refrigeration.
