    ... at the thought of doing a task Ben and I met our boss, then met another wonderful young lady named Sharon. She took us to get our burner phones from Thailand connected to a plan, so off we went to get Chinese SIM cards. "Let's take the bikes."

    In Taiyuan you can rent a bike for an hour for free. So in our state of perpetual, 'What the hell is going on' we grabbed bikes, and followed Sharon on the street towards a cell retailer.

    ... just started eating our dinner when a thunderstorm broke. Within minutes the street was awash, and what had started as a trickle down the Main Street became a torrent. We thought it had subsided so finished eating, paid and started walking down the street. The further we walked the deeper the water became...Lionel was saying to take off my boots and roll up my trousers...he of course ...

    Fantastic pedicure and foot massage. Didn't realise until walking afterwards just how completely shot-to-**** my feet were, it felt like walking on air.
    Befriended a Spanish couple that we had seen in the same restaurant a us yesterday and shared a taxi to the train station together. It was awesome to meet fellow climbers and especially ones who focus that travelling and vacations around climbing!!
    NEVER again will i travel by cattle ...

    ... November 2nd) (Saturday)

    I was beyond happy that we were finally get to return to Beijing. However, we did get to check out the peak we were supposed to see the day before. I chose to take the bus there because I was not in the mood to walk.

    The peak itself was stunning and the sun was out.

    We then got on the bus to Beijing.

    ... with the kids in their classrooms. In my classroom, we sang songs and danced with the kids. They were adorable.

    Then, we went to the up stair of the school There was an exhibit to celebrate the village's success for finally building a road to connect to the outside world. We met the man behind planning for it. He was responsible for providing the engineering aspect needed for the project.
