A Train ride to Guilin

We booked a train ticket to Guilin in Chongqing,
somehow ended up with a hard seat again (drawback of
backpacking on a small bugdet), again the guy "What, HARD SEAT? you crazy!"

We were motivated, after all,
it was half the time we had done on the previous train ride,
(Shanghai-Chendgu).


Actually, it turned out equally horrible,
the seats ...

... we did and then to find the youth hostel that took a awhile but find it we did it was about 1am by this time and then I decided that i could not stay in the mixed dorm that Amy had booked because I was scared I was going to wake up the other 3 guys that were in it so luckily;y for me there had a another room that I took which was not too expensive and it had its own bathroom etc and it was big 2 double beds luxury!

... the choice. We also had over an hour to relax before dinner. Dinner was great as always; Chinese food galore. After dinner and a few pictures, Rosalind and I went to the lounge area to use our free drink coupons. We met a family from Holland that was with another tour group. They have been to Disneyland in California, Dallas and New York during previous vacations. We told them we lived in Holland for almost a year; they were surprised.
