Tahoe 4 Season Resort Vacation
Travel Blogs from Truckee
"when walking in the woods, one always finds more then they are looking for" -John Muir
I've decided to resurrect the blog so soon because I've found myself in a tent, in the woods along side a trail once again. Though this time it's only for a weekend I'm still sure there will be things to write about.
First off let me start by saying that my life has been going great so far in the Reno Nevada area. I've been working for the Nevada conservation corps for 3 weeks, and ...
... rocks around the beach it is very beautiful. Mum, Madi, Cal and Sybella had a little swim but it was really really cold. Cal and Daddy spent a lot of time skimming stones across the water, Daddy got one to go 13 times, Cal was amazed. Then we lost Bella after she decided to go for a walk without anyone so it was time to go!
We were back in the car for the long boring road to the bright lights of Reno.

... we hope they got out okay.
After the very long drive it was late by the time we got to Lake Tahoe and we could only just see the lake which is huge the town is busy all year as they play on the lake during summer and then ski in winter, we passed some very big houses.
We were looking forward to waking in the morning and seeing the lake.

... come in a flat from Costco and eating beautiful, multi-colored eggs (that costs 2 to 3 times more than Costco) farm freshies. I’m not making a judgement call. There are times when I’ve opted for each, over the other... There is a place for both... but there is a difference.
Aunt Daphne is connected with so many people. She tried to use those connections to get us into skate at Woodward’s facility ...
... different sides to the area. Truckee River, Tahoe City, the Westside shoreline, South Lake Tahoe. I could easily see myself hanging out here for a month or more – that is, if I could learn to use the brake and gas pedal of the RV. Dang, they are hard to reach!
Tomorrow is Friday, and we take off. Don’t know where we will land for the weekend, but I am sure looking forward to Sunday on the Russian River.
