We have been in Ballston Spa since August 10 and having a wonderful time. The kids are just delightful. The schedule here is busy and we fall into bed at our usual 9:00 many nights earlier than that. The rain has set in for the day, Wednesday. So laundry and relaxing is on the menu! Tomorrow we move on to Verona, NY. to try out the slots at the casino:)) Maybe I can win enough for dinner:))
There was a company doing a new ad for the boat company using a drone. It was cool to see how far they could fly it out away from the boat and video the surroundings. Who knows we maybe in the ad!!
We really enjoyed our boat ride of almost 3 hours and it was a great way to see what Lake George is all about!!
Tomorrow is a hike of about 4 miles up Prospect Mountain. Should be fun!!
... is packed with tourist shops and restaurants and plenty of people to keep them busy. Once you find a parking spot and start to walk around you see the charm of this little town. Lake George is a beautiful lake and people flock to the water for swimming, boating and sunbathing.

Lake George, up state New York. Beautiful spot which reminds us so much of Taupo as everything revolves around the lake and rivers in the area. Small villages and resorts around the lake make it extremely popular in summer but advertises winter activities so must stay open all year round. Not sure what happens to the ice cream shops on every corner in winter? Yummy interesting ...
