... just outside of Pensacola. If we thought St. Pete's Beach was quiet, Navarre was even more subdued! Luckily, it's Super Bowl weekend, so we found our own entertainment at the bar next door to the hotel. With the likely name of "Helen Back," we figured this was the place to have a good time--and we did! They had a giant big projection tv, so we placed ourselves right in front of it to watch the Super Bowl. Wasn't that a great game? We ...

We vowed to return there and stay for a few days during our next Florida visit ...

... the Tamiami Trail.  The Tamiami Trail is a 95 mile 2 lane road which runs East-West from Miami to Naples and borders the Everglades.  A waterway runs along the sides and it contains numerous alligators (quit counting at 50), turtles and waterfowl. Our campground was halfway between Miami and Naples. All 36 sites are facing a lake in the middle.  There were only 5 of us in the campground so we had privacy once again. Just several yards in front of us was ...

... against the Phillies at 6:30 PM. We got up close with the Phillie Phanatic. (That photo is on my phone) Not a ton of Jays fans at this game but enough. Our last spring training game is tomorrow at 1:00 in Dunedin, the Jays ST facility. Hey Madi, they have a chain of pharmacy/grocery/liquor store here called PUBLIX. Not the same publics we know and love. Heading to bed now, good night ...
