I was going to have to get the slower vaporetto - he thought it would take about 30 minutes. Dinner was lovely. Antipasti of Italian cheeses (smoked bocconcini, parmigiana and a soft creamy spreadable one - its name escapes me now) and cured meat with bread followed by perfectly cooked steak with mushrooms, gourmet potatoes and salad.
