... would definitely love to come back and spend some time here. Perhaps one day we could stay here for a month or so in a self contained apartment, just out of peak season and experience living here and exploring the islands nearby… another one for the bucket list!! Our ship left Mykonos early in the afternoon and will now make its way to Istanbul, Turkey where we will arrive early tomorrow ...

The stop in Mykonos was uneventful and pretty relaxing. OK meal in a local joint and the streets are famous for being a maze which has a sort of charm. We didn't have lovely weather but just a bit overcast and windy.

All in all, an OK place but we much preferred Santorini.

... told us we had to leave because he didn't want our tour guide in the monastery. We're not quite sure why he singled out only our group, but we missed out on that stop. Our next stop was a beach side restaurant called Ithaki. We enjoyed some cheese, olives, stuffed grape leaves, chicken bread and, of course, some ouzo!
