... stores! Another metro trip took us to Shibuya where we found the most fascinating intersection ever! Every few minutes about 1000 people (or more, it's unbelievable!!) cross the street in 6 directions! We stopped by and watched it several times, from on the street and above (there's Starbucks and a shopping passage with a great view). We then went on window shopping through smaller streets full of every kind of store you can think of! Last trip this day was to Shinjuku where ...

... who was directing us to the cue to line up in. She had the best sense of humour making us all laugh with her witty comments about the passengers she was helping.

The customs check point was super quick and before we knew it we were out in the arrivals terminal. We grabbed ourselves a water and managed to find the train ticket machine. There was another nice lady there who helped us purchase our one way tickets to Asakusabashi Station. I would not ...

Laduree ...

... I've experienced before. In Europe I felt like I could mediocrely get by, but here you can't even guess on words - everything is symbols. Their love for pictures has helped though and our hostel gave us a booklet that includes a "pointing sheet of expressions". It has already saved us from ordering beef instead of octopus. We've encountered a few interesting dishes already. On Wednesday our goal was to stay up so the time difference didn't mess with our heads. We started by going to ...

... for later that night. It was the same masseur that we had in the previous few times. Unfortunately, he didn't have his sidekick with him and had to do two massages back to back (apologies for the pun). Joseph snored through pretty much all of the massage. The masseur must be getting used to that by now as he wasn't laughing as much as he was the first time. I don't know how Joseph could sleep through the massage. It was quite a painful experience.
