I started to clean the glass from my jumper, shoes and hair. It was quite a shock. An Irish man (Kevin) had several cuts on his head but luckily, that was the worst of it.

The driver was going uphill (around 20mph) on a left bend had over cut the bend and smashed into a branch sticking out of the tree. He clearly was at fault. His driving was awful in any case.

... sea is a lagoon formed by the sea coming through a narrow tunnel in a sheer rock wall. The azure window is a spectacular rock formation and both are set in a dramatic location with crashing waves and high winds.

... straight enough, so I kind of landed on my thighs and butt, which was extremely painful. I've got a little bit of bruising, but it was worth it. I jumped off a cliff into a crystal clear lagoon on an uninhabited island in the Mediterranean! Awesome. I probably won't be doing it again any time soon, but it was definitely worth the plunge once.

... bad English because it was awful. Oh well we weren't going to complain after being in Italy. We had dinner at the hotel (it was a 10 euros buffet). Then we went to a travel office to book tours. We wanted to go to Sicily, but it ended up being 105 euros so we nixed that idea. Instead we booked tours to Gozo and Comino (the other two islands of Malta) and Malta of course. We literally were going to see the entire country in two days. ...

... to see a group of kids making their first Holy Communion (really overelaborate) and then walk along the alleys. We visit the Old Jail, a great experience although it's quite small, but it's very interesting and it just costs 1,5€.
