I've just popped over to Malta for a day &amp; a bit (as you do!) to say a quick hello / goodbye to my parents (and bring them lots of goodies over for the last time in a while).<br><br>The weather is a little warmer than the UK, but not as warm as it's going to be in a week's time (ha ha ha).<br><br>Anyway, I'll keep this blog short so ciao for now!<br><br>Anita x

... history of Malta, and head back on the bus to the ship before 2:30.<br><br> At dinner Jenny tells us that she and nine other people were abandoned by their tour guide in Malta, so they ended up taking a cab back to the boat. I doubt the parents would have thought to do that if they were lost; we probably would have ended up yelling at each other and in the process get robbed. I am so lucky to have survived another day on this trip.<br><br>

We took the ferry today from Malta to the second major island that makes up the nation of Malta and that is Gozo. Our residence is another Maltese guest house called the Gardens which is run by a sister and brother. Gozo is home to many converted farm houses that can be rented and it is best to do so in a group, I spoke with Michael and Josette and they are interested so next time if I am here with my brothers perhaps spending a few days in Gozo in one of the farm houses will be a fantastic experience. Mario had to work at the old watchtower in Dwejra that day, so I got a ride with him to the largest town on the island, Victoria, where I would do some sightseeing before heading to the west coast to meet him at Dwejra. ... were incredibly clean. I have heard that the tourist boom has missed Vittoriosa for the time being, which is probably one of the reasons why it is like it is. However after speaking with some locals the general idea is that Vittoriosa is being kept as a bit of a play ground for Europe's rich and famous. Hello Kewlabahs! Since i last ´blogged´ i have been recovering from Global Gathering and hanging out with Barnesy in London. We have had a ball. Even though we haven´t done alot, as usual we were able to keep each other in stitches most of the time. ... we ate dinner at the Orion, all of Malta cruised by our window. The shows have also been a lot of fun, with terrific singing and dancing, very professional. The shows are usually "revues", plotless series of production numbers, with lots of flash and glitz and spangly costumes, but we all enjoy them nonetheless. So, next stop Barcelona! We're doing about 19 knots/hour across the Med, it's 11,000 feet deep but calm, and overcast but warm today. More later, Jeff, Caroline and Zoe
