... to our data with our arch down we are 3.1m plus we have the dinghy on the roof! We lowered the radar arch almost flat and took it inch by inch so we could abort easily if necessary but we limboed under the bridges with only about 1" to spare but we got through. If we couldn't get under, we would have had to take the dinghy off and take the arch off completely, so it was possible.

... SG who suffers badly from seasickness.

*Our itinerary is compromised even on Day 1 by a 2 hour delay in sailing and a crossing at half power. ( 2 out of 4 engines are apparently not functioning )

* Oh well, we had better get used to such minor (hopefully) frustrations. This is just a bit of training for hard core delays that will possibly happen further along our journey.

... Eventually we noticed signs saying "nord zee" which we assumed means North Sea. But is it the LF1a nordzee route or the LF1b nordzee route? Susan's hypothesis is that they are the same route just in opposite directions. Jimbo's hypothesis is that the a route was direct and the b route was the scenic option. Gary and John went to visit their friend Rob who is very sick with cancer. I caught the Metro to Rotterdam Centraal to activate the Eurail tickets and book our tickets to Munich.
