... Eventually we noticed signs saying "nord zee" which we assumed means North Sea. But is it the LF1a nordzee route or the LF1b nordzee route? Susan's hypothesis is that they are the same route just in opposite directions. Jimbo's hypothesis is that the a route was direct and the b route was the scenic option. ... a little sore. We cruise into Damme and stop for a short town visit mostly to get off the Damme bikes. There is a nice church with a bell tower that we do not climb. The church is beautiful and we sit on a bench and have the rest of our lunch. It is now sunny and nice but still cool enough when riding to wear a jacket. Getting cleear of the vast city and its environs took forever AND a few wrong turns on my part.
