... as we have more family coming next week. John went to have his hair cut and came back scalped and the harbour master didn't recognise him when he went to tell him we were staying another night. John also had another go at resealing the front windows which have been weeping. We pottered doing other things most of the day and felt quite pleased with the results. Isi found a mobile phone handset on board and so when Simon and Eileen arrive next week bringing her new ...

... Eventually we noticed signs saying "nord zee" which we assumed means North Sea. But is it the LF1a nordzee route or the LF1b nordzee route? Susan's hypothesis is that they are the same route just in opposite directions. Jimbo's hypothesis is that the a route was direct and the b route was the scenic option. Leonie has a virus so Maurice stayed for dinner before taking her ...

Close, we lose sight of it by a park and decide to sit on a bench and have lunch. A baguette with Gouda cheese and peppered salami. The meats and cheeses are so much better here. I don't think they are quite as processed as ours. There is a continuous stream of people walking by as something is definitely going on today ...

... It was a mustardy yellow but not mayonnaise, salad cream or thousand Island but something of a mixture of all 3. Very nice whatever it was and I am sure that Nanka, Jack or Agnes will put us right.

After doing some small jobs, we were getting bored. We had made enquiries about getting a bus somewhere but it was impossible, so we felt stuck. John had an afternoon nap and Isi got fed up with doing so many puzzles. John went to pay ...
