First rain since we came back!

... the end did not produce any rain. We then had another walk round the town as last time Isi had a problem with walking but is OK now. It was very quiet with it being Sunday and no shops open and on return to the harbour we stopped to have a beer in the sunshine. It was not quite so warm but Isi still has t-shirt and shorts on at 7pm outside.

After dinner we spoke to several family and friends on Skype which varied in clarity of calls, but great to see ...

*Day 1 starts well after a great night's sleep. We had both felt really tired arriving in Harwich – we must have been living on adrenalin for quite a few weeks. SG manages her first test in navigation – reaching the ferry terminal. Not difficult since the Premier Inn is practically within the terminal area.

... Eventually we noticed signs saying "nord zee" which we assumed means North Sea. But is it the LF1a nordzee route or the LF1b nordzee route? Susan's hypothesis is that they are the same route just in opposite directions. Jimbo's hypothesis is that the a route was direct and the b route was the scenic option. Highlight has to be Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, we will never ever forget the welcoming people and the stunning countryside. So many special times.
