I am here! NYC It is so amazing to walk down the street full of people and not see one person that looks like me! The diversity is incredible.
The hotel is perfect! Updated, clean, modern, great AC, staff is VERY helpful! I have walked everywhere with little ease! It is right beside a police precinct! Sounds like perfection to me!
... seconds outside and drenched from head to toe, you name it, we experienced it. It was like the apocalypse had hit the city. So, needless to say, we got a cab back, rather than walking, dried up, had a great night in with our student hosts, played some cards, drank some moonshine and prosecco, waited for the rain to subside a little, kilted up and hit the west village.
