A Short Hop up the Coast

A Lazy Day
... is really a very nice harbour. It is interesting, with lots going on and it is has a nice mixture of industrial and commercial property, with cafes, restaurants and bars on the waterfront. Great Sailing
... or whatever it is that constitutes the harbour in Neustadt. It is quite an impressive harbour, with room for 340 boats in boxes all the way up. As it is so stretched out, the council had kindly laid on toilets, showers and washing machines at regular intervals, 8 in all. Very accommodating. Last day with Helen
... the land was well forested, with fine tall beech and lime trees. We stopped for a cup of tea in a cliff-top café and then returned, remarking once again on the cleanliness and quiet streets with neat houses, some of them very large indeed. In short, a genteel seaside town.
