I rest on my bed when I got back and I must have nodded off because when I opened my eyes it was 9.15am, I got packed and made my way to reception for checkout. There were three ladies on reception and all very polite, the reception manager was very chatty and inquired what hotel I worked at, this lead to a long conversation about my travels and future plans, I think they will be looking to travel soon as they were jealous that ...

Back at the hotel and got the key for the room I will be staying in for three nights and very comfortable it is too, the bed seems to be as wide as it is long, enormous for one person. I have had a coffee and a shower and watched the BBC world news for an hour and now time for sleep. A good first day for ...

... around the Rathaus I noticed a collection of white tents about a block away so afterwards we walked towards them. It was a really cute winter markets. I finally got some mulled wine, which was super super delicious – it’s red wine with cinnamon and cloves and potentially some orange flavour that’s heated up and served piping hot like a cup of tea. We also got lunch, which was a kind of bread that’s filled with salami and tomato. We sat and ate it by the ...
