An awesome morning, went by train (Thomas the tank engine style) into town to the musical cabinet museum, amazing old musical instruments the best was a piano with 6 attached violins, tiny musical box with a singing bird. Moved onto the Ruedesheimer Schloss hotel for the local coffee delicacy. This was sugar, brandy, coffee & cream, yummy!!!

Ruedesheim has 10,500 residents with up to 3 million visitors, 288ha of vineyards. Went by cable ...

Waited in Brasov for 90 minutes for our train to Bucharest. It was going to be 160 minutes late....maybe. Got a taxi to Bucharest for $75 Euro (2 hours) to make our plane destined for Frankfurt. We made it to Frankfurt!! Took a train to the Hauptbahnof and walked a short distance to the ...

... Plane finally did depart 20 minutes late they they were able to make up a little time as we landed in San Diego only 10 minutes late.
Very tired as I went to bed at 9:00 and awoke after 8:00 am next morning.
It was a great trip and I did a lot of walking but worth it. The food and beer was all very enjoyable. I ll have to give it some thought as to what I like best and what the next trip may be. It all needs to sink in.

However, because the people that worked there saw us drinking beers before we went up, they refused us entry and gave us a refund...oopsy...So we headed out for dinner (where we did our makeup and got ready) and had a few drinks at some random bars (including an Australian bar) - ...

It has been 3 glorious days in Germany. Met my aunt after a sleepless plane ride outside the terminal with a great big hug. It has been forever and I'm so glad I decided to make this stop on our way to China. I wouldn't have made the trip on it's own, but Germany is so fantastic I wonder why we hadn't before.
