From the top you had great views of the city, I would have liked to see it in daylight as the pictures would have been more impressive but the lights were quite special to see at night. ... fillet burger and chips. The chips were a bit overcooked and the burger was a bit spicy but it was alright. When we finished dinner we went for a walk around the resort and checked out the aquarium which is walls of glass and millions of fish sharks and stingrays in them. It was beautiful. ... resort’s owner. We come across the occasional lizard, a couple of different varieties of gazelle and the tracks at least of desert rat. Nothing that exciting, except that it’s hard to imagine that anything can possibly survive in this environment. “Conservation” though primarily refers to the herds of Arabian oryx that the estate feeds and waters. After dinner we headed to Cavalli Club (Yes, a Roberto Cavalli creation) it was exquisitely designed - diamond chandeliers, furry walls, and zebra print everywhere, but a little too posh and pretentious for my liking. We finished off with a drink at The Vault, on the 72nd floor of our hotel.
