Officially a third world country, Costa Rica had my senses tingling for the whole 10 days. OK, so there was some evidence of poverty; people sitting beside the road selling their wares, people guarding your car in car parks for a tip of about 100 Colones (15p), people risking their lives walking along the middle of the motorway in slow moving traffic selling cashew nuts, balloons, magnifying glasses, satnav holders and a myriad of other tat. I presume ...
