The last 2 days we have spent exploring this beautiful natural park in central croatia. After getting our enterance pass we decided that we would stick to path C and follow that around. The paths were really well maintained and Brenton reflected alot about his work back home. We did alot of walking this day, the park has many waterfalls and the water is a beautiful aqua colour which on a hot day like ...

Our hopes that the torrents of rain that we arrived to yesterday afternoon would rain themselves out overnight were unfounded as we awoke to another wet day at the campsite this morning. You could likely defend it with small rocks as climbing the hill prior to the installation of a modern road must have been brutal. The good news was that our task was to come and see Motovun. We paid $10 kn to get a parking pass at the base of the hill and winded our way up the hill where we were directed to park precariously at the edge of steep cliff. A slight error with ...

... lost, stops for food and to take pictures, and a run in with local law enforcement.

The drive back was to Croatia from Venice was equally scenic as the drive there (especially near the Italian/Slovenian border, by what I like to call the Adriatic Armpit), however, we missed our exit near Trieste, which caused some consternation, as we didn't have any cell receiption in Italy. However, cool heads finally got us on the right track and we got ...
