      We are now starting to become pretty train savvy, or so we think. We took an earlier train to Kosice to make sure we didn't miss our connection since it was the only train destined for Eger that day. And it's a good thing, because the train we had considered taking was now scheduled to arrive 15 min late so we would have missed our connection.       ... actually a genetically Hungarian thing.) So, imagine, if you will, a 75-year-old, hot-blooded Hungarian, driving a 4-cylinder Suzuki Swift like it's a Maserati. Except Janos doesn't like to pay for the toll highway, which is significantly more efficient, time-wise, and infinitely less narrow, with paved shoulders and good lighting. Not enough?       ... down and more like January-February numbers according to one shop owner we chatted to. Seems strange to be doing the work in the height of the summer peak season. Nevertheless, I'm sure it will vastly improve the town once it's all completed.
