... leave from platform one....it was on platform two. Another thing that I learned was that you shouldn't get on a train just because you heard your destination said in the middle of an Hungarian announcement....it could very well be the wrong train!! Long story short, we were lucky to have made it back to Budapest that night and I learned that it's always good to find an English speaking Hungarian that is willing to help!

Arrived in Eger and trekked 2km in scorching heat to our quaint hotel. We've become quite used to long walks with our packs! What a great place. This morning we left Budapest and drove to the WIne producing Town of Eger where the world Famous wine Egri Bikaver ( Bull's Blood) is produced. We drove straight to the Campsite Tulipan Camping and were not impressed by the lack of facilities their false advertisement of amenities and the high price they wanted to charge for shadeless openfield camping.
